 Amy Porter: The small-town setting of Rolling Hills was very vivid, but the story gets incredibly dark very quickly.

 Martin Fletcher: A solid, middle-of-the-road action novel. It does exactly what it promises on the cover without any major surprises.

 Mary Martin: So intense! I couldn’t put it down. Commander Robert Brown is an unforgettable hero fighting for survival.

 Vince Fredrickson: The dual storyline slowed down the momentum for me. Every time the forest action got good, it cut back to the town investigation.

 Omar Harris: Five stars. A brilliant, visceral portrayal of an elite operator turning his pursuers into prey. Highly satisfying.

 Amanda W.: A super intense cat-and-mouse game! The tactical traps in the remote forests were incredibly clever and cool to read.

 Will Ferguson: It’s a serious, violent book. Good if you like military survival stuff, but definitely not a light read.

 Kevin Nanjiani: Really enjoyed the parallel narratives. Special Agent Smith and Uncle Pete made a great investigative team.

 Jason Sullivan: A decent action book with some really cool tactical survival moments, though the overall plot is pretty predictable.

 Meagan Goodman: Heart-pounding from start to finish! Watching Commander Brown systematically eliminate the opposition was incredibly powerful.

 Michael Carter: It was pretty intense. The main character was really good at surviving in the woods, but it was a bit too violent for me.

 Woodie Harris: A gritty, relentless, and completely satisfying survival thriller. They truly messed with the wrong Navy SEAL.

 Jonah Higgins: The pacing felt uneven in the middle chapters when switching between the forest hunt and the town investigation.

Ashton Smith: Incredible pacing and deeply authentic tactical action.
